Re: Why good ontology is good for science

This is excellent and generalizes to many other domains, i.e., outside of bio or even outside of hard sciences.

The problem presently is finding sources of investment to improve the tools (Protege), standards (OWL) and technology (reasoners, etc). That is desperately needed and in the US, anyway, is sorely lacking.
